My job was to write test scripts, so it was really boring. The corporate culture is pretty Japanese, many people at the company have been working for many years until retirement. It rewards loyalty more than ability. Some executives come from Japan and all the executives travel back and forth. The company is a subsidiary of Hitachi for selling Hitachi Storage products so does no R&D itself. The company is making lots of money and it is growing as rapidly because it cost less to buy new storage than to delete old ones. If you want a place to settle down this is the company to work for.
