The turnover rate has been high; they've lost lots of people during recent years. However, they also bring in lots of people at the same time. A lot of my co-workers around have started in less than a year, and I personally know couple guys who're planning to leave within a year or so....

I've been at Yahoo for almost 2 years, and have generally enjoyed my time there. The hours I worked were reasonable, and my coworkers were friendly. You may have read bad news about Yahoo in the gossip rags lately, but the problems are only in upper management.

I can offer that I worked at Yahoo for 5 years and it was a great experience, although even though I always had 100% positive reviews and received multiple salary increases, I was ultimately layed off along with my entire profitable department. Yahoo used to offer superb benefits and campus is built so you do not need to leave (depending your point of view, the campus is next to nothing so if you do not drive to work, you are not able to leave at all). However working situation is worsening since Google is eating up the market share....
