Apple makes the best products in the world. To do this, they need people who care deeply about the company and products involved in the process. I'd recommend working at Apple to anyone who cares about the user experience, Macintosh, iPod, or just wants to be part of a community of products and users where everyone cares about every last detail.

Perhaps its biggest weakness, Apple internally is very secretive. This makes it hard for teams to share ideas or learn from each other.

Did interns or employees get free iPods/iPhones? Know that they don't work at Apple for the free stuff... but they're one of the most sought after products so just want to know. =)

Apparently Apple's strength is not just at its products, but also its marketing and retail arms. Have you had any experience with that? Know anybody there?
