Dell is not a place that you can be lazy and earn a fat pay check every month. People work very hard here and work/life balance isn't great. What I love about Dell is that the company plays fair. They recognize people who deliver result and reward them with the things they deserve. It knows how to create a successful working environment. They truly take employee feedback and try hard to improve their happiness.
Some of the co-workers there really lacked integrity but there're people like that everywhere. But what's not everywhere are mentors who help you develop yourself and stretch you beyond your comfort zone, and I get couple of them at Dell.
We see the company's founder, Michale Dell all the time in the corporate campus. He even once held the door for me when I was walking in. This said something about the leadership and really motivated me and the other employees. I'd say a majority of the workers enjoy working here.
