Certainly, great brand on resume. But you don't really need the name on your resume if you want stay at the company and have a lasting career. However, at Oracle not many people have a "career", where the word means a rising path in terms of position and compensation. People here don't rise, lots of them stay in the same role in 10+ years, and pay rise is virtually close to 0. It is still a great options for people who just want stability, though, since the hours are pretty flexible and relatively short. The colleagues are generally smart and friendly. Being at the same place, doing the same thing, and earning (pretty much) the same money is quite boring, if not intolerable. I can see that from my managers.
