I've been at Yahoo for almost 2 years, and have generally enjoyed my time there. The hours I worked were reasonable, and my coworkers were friendly. You may have read bad news about Yahoo in the gossip rags lately, but the problems are only in upper management.
Personally, I believe that when you're working at a tech company with several thousand employees, your team and job in the company matters more than which company you work for. The team I had was great, and most of the time I was working on challenging problems and there were very few meetings.
